Open What's new? from Home

Open the LowLighter Home view and select What's new? in the lower-right area of the desktop window. LowLighter opens the product changelog in a separate release-notes window.

   Choose Home from the LowLighter sidebar.

   Select What's new?

   Use the Home entry point labeled What's new? to open the release notes.

   Review the product updates in the LowLighter changelog window.

Use release notes for product changes

What's new? is a reading entry point for LowLighter release notes. It does not start a download, install an update, or change the current desktop version.

Use the separate Updates page when the desktop shows an available update and you need to download, install, restart, or retry the update flow.

Opens the LowLighter changelog so you can read release notes.

Update Available

Shows that a newer desktop package is available and offers Download or Later.

Ready to Install

Shows that the downloaded package can be installed with Install & Restart.

Update Failed

Shows that the update flow needs a connection check and a Retry action.
