Cancel a subscription.

Cancel from the Stripe customer portal

LowLighter starts cancellation from Manage subscription in Account. The action opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can review and confirm the cancellation.

   Open Account

   Choose Account from the LowLighter sidebar or website account page.

   Select Manage subscription

   Open the Stripe customer portal.

   Choose cancellation

   Use the cancellation action provided by the portal.

   Confirm the change

   Review the end-of-period information and submit the cancellation.

Understand the end-of-period state

Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period. Account changes the subscription label from a renewal date to an Ends on date so you can see when the current access period is expected to finish.

The account can continue to use the current paid access during that period. Read the date shown in Account for your subscription's current state.

Resume a scheduled cancellation

If the Stripe customer portal offers a resume action while the subscription is scheduled to end, use it there to keep the subscription active. Return to Account to confirm that the end-of-period state has changed.
