Choose the language used for live meeting transcription.
Set the speech language before listening so the Meetings transcript follows the language you speak.

Set the language before a session
Open Meetings, choose Meeting controls, and find Transcription language in the Transcription group. Select the language that matches the speech you want LowLighter to transcribe.
The selected language is a Meetings preference. It is used when the next listening session sends speech for transcription.

Change the language between sessions
Meetings does not allow the transcription language to change while a listening session is in progress. Finish or pause the current workflow, change the language in Controls, and use the updated choice for a later session.
This setting controls transcription, not the Assist answer language. Meeting modes and Assist instructions remain separate from the speech language chosen here.
