What Automatic Screen Capture changes

Automatic Screen Capture reuses one saved screen region whenever you press a mode hotkey. Once the region is configured, LowLighter can send that area directly to the request flow without asking you to draw a new selection each time.

The setting is available to Basic and Pro accounts. It is designed for a stable screen area that you ask about repeatedly.

Set or replace the saved region

  1. 1

    Open Settings

Go to Selection Box and turn on Automatic Screen Capture.

  2. 2

    Choose Set region

The selection editor opens and shows the area that will be reused.

  3. 3

    Draw or adjust the box

Draw a new area, or drag the existing box to reposition it when you are editing a saved region.

  4. 4

    Confirm the area

Confirm the editor selection to save the region for future mode shortcuts.

  5. 5

    Clear it when needed

Use Clear to remove the saved region and return to ordinary manual selection.

Automatic capture uses the Vision engine

While Automatic Screen Capture is enabled, the desktop uses the Vision engine for the saved region and counts the request against the account's AI Vision allowance.

Watch the allowance shown in Account. When the Vision allowance is depleted, the Selection Box can show a warning with the next reset information rather than silently changing the capture setting.
