Manage Offline AI components.

Download the local components

Offline AI Components contains the local model and the hardware-optimized runtime package used by Offline Mode. The download is separate from the base desktop installation.

   Open Settings

   Choose Settings, then open Offline AI.

   Start the download

   Select Download beside Offline AI Components.

   Wait for completion

   Keep the settings view open while LowLighter reports download progress.

   Enable Offline Mode

   Turn on Enable Offline Mode after the component status shows that the package is ready.

Read the component status

Not downloaded

The local model and runtime package are not ready for Offline Mode.

Downloading

LowLighter is downloading the components and shows progress for the current operation.

Downloaded

The components are available to load for Offline Mode.

If a download fails, the desktop shows an error and provides a retry path. A failed download does not enable Offline Mode.

Delete the components

Select Delete beside Offline AI Components when you want to remove the local package from the installation. LowLighter disables Offline Mode before removing components that are currently in use.
