Use referral codes and credits.

Find and share your referral code

Paid LowLighter accounts can view a referral code from Account. Use the copy action to share the code with someone who wants to start a LowLighter subscription.

   Open Account

   Choose Account from the LowLighter sidebar or website account page.

   Open Referrals

   Find the referral card with your code and recorded referral information.

   Copy the code

   Use the copy action to place the code on your clipboard.

   Share the code

   Send it to the person who will use it during checkout.

Apply a referral code during checkout

Enter the referral code in the subscription checkout flow before payment. When the referred subscription completes successfully, the referred customer receives a $5 checkout coupon.

The referral code belongs in checkout, not in the Account plan label. Review the discount shown by the checkout flow before completing payment.

Track the referral credit

The referrer receives a $5 credit for each successful referred subscriber. Account shows the recorded referral count and credits, which are applied to the next bill according to the billing state.
