Terms of Service

Free Tier: Free accounts include Answer and Summarize, 15 answers per day, the Anti-Focus Overlay, limited Meetings access, and a 15-minute Phantom invisibility trial. No credit card is required.

Basic Plan: Basic includes all five core modes, unlimited Fast text processing, access to vision models, Offline AI, the Anti-Focus Overlay, GhostKeys, and Winter and Ambient aesthetics. Basic is offered monthly or annually.

Pro Plan: Pro includes everything in Basic plus unlimited Phantom invisibility, maximum Meeting Assistant usage, Agent computer use, higher-thinking models, twice the Basic Vision allowance, Custom Prompt, and all aesthetic decorations. Pro is offered monthly or annually. Current prices are displayed before checkout and may change with notice.

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or Stripe billing portal.

Refund Requests: Refunds are discretionary and reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To be considered, you must contact billing@lowlighter.ai within 7 days of the applicable charge. A refund may be available only when there has been no substantial use of the paid service, no repeat refund history, no active payment dispute or chargeback, and no confirmed abuse of LowLighter, its accounts, or its billing systems. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights available under applicable law.

Forgetting to Cancel / Accidental Purchases: Simply forgetting to cancel a subscription, failing to use the service, or making an accidental purchase or plan change does not automatically qualify for a refund outside of the 7-day discretionary window.

Active Payment Disputes: LowLighter will not issue a separate refund while a chargeback or payment dispute is active or after the disputed funds have already been returned by a bank, card issuer, or payment processor. If a dispute is resolved in LowLighter's favor and the funds were not returned to you, you may contact billing@lowlighter.ai for review under the refund policy above.

Friendly fraud includes knowingly disputing a legitimate or authorized charge after receiving access to LowLighter, falsely claiming that a recognized purchase was unauthorized or that the service was not provided, disputing a charge instead of using the available cancellation or refund process, or otherwise misusing a bank or card-network dispute process to obtain LowLighter without paying for it.

Chargeback fraud and payment abuse are material breaches of these Terms. Payment abuse includes, without limitation, repeated refund abuse; use of stolen, unauthorized, or deceptive payment information; manipulation of promotional offers or subscriptions; and creating or using additional accounts, alternate email addresses, payment methods, devices, or identities to evade a payment restriction, account action, cancellation, or prior ban.

LowLighter may preserve relevant account, transaction, device, access, and usage records; provide evidence to payment processors, card issuers, financial institutions, or lawful authorities; challenge improper disputes; and pursue any lawful remedy available to recover amounts, fees, losses, or damages resulting from payment abuse. Except where required by law, accounts terminated for confirmed payment abuse are not eligible for refunds.

If you genuinely do not recognize a charge or believe your account or payment method was compromised, contact billing@lowlighter.ai promptly so the transaction can be investigated. A good-faith report of an unauthorized charge is not itself chargeback fraud, but LowLighter may suspend affected accounts and payment access while investigating and securing them.

LowLighter is a productivity tool designed for legitimate use. You are solely responsible for how you use this App and any consequences arising from its use.

Strictly Prohibited:

• Academic Dishonesty: Using the App to cheat on exams, tests, assignments, or any form of academic assessment. This includes but is not limited to using the App during proctored exams, completing homework dishonestly, or violating your educational institution's academic integrity policies.
• Certification Fraud: Using the App during professional certification exams, licensing tests, or any assessment where external assistance is prohibited.
• Violation of Testing Rules: Using the App in violation of any testing environment's rules, terms, or policies, including online proctoring systems.
• Fraudulent Activities: Any use of the App to commit fraud, deception, or misrepresentation in any context.

LowLighter reserves the right to immediately terminate accounts suspected of prohibited use without refund. We may cooperate with educational institutions and legal authorities in investigations of misuse.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
