Start listening and transcription
Start Audio Session begins listening to the microphone and system audio, then creates a live transcript in the Meetings workspace. The current listening state appears in the bottom-left status area.
- 1
Open Meetings
Go to Meetings and confirm the transcription language and other controls.
- 2
Start Audio Session
Select the action to begin microphone and system-audio listening.
- 3
Open Transcript
Use Transcript to view the words captured during the live session.
Pause or resume the session
Pause temporarily stops live listening while keeping the session open. Resume continues the same session when you are ready to continue.
The listening status remains visible while the session is active, so you can distinguish a paused session from one that has been completed.
Finish the session
Select Done when the conversation is complete. LowLighter ends the listening session and saves the finished session for the Transcription Sessions history view.
New Chat is different from Done. New Chat clears the ordinary Assist conversation. It does not end an active audio session.
