Choose the interior fill color

Open Settings, expand Selection Box, and use Background color. Select the swatch to choose the color shown inside the region you are drawing.

The hex value beside the swatch shows the current fill color. It is independent of the Border color control.

Set the interior fill opacity

Use Background opacity to control how visible the selected-region fill is. The Selection Box slider accepts values from 0% to 75%.

  1. 1

    Open Selection Box

Find the Selection Box card in Settings.

  2. 2

    Set Background color

Choose the color used inside the selection region.

  3. 3

    Set Background opacity

Move the slider until the selected area is easy to distinguish without hiding the source.

  4. 4

    Draw a test region

Start a manual selection to review the fill against the screen content.

Understand Automatic Screen Capture behavior

Automatic Screen Capture reuses a saved region instead of opening the normal manual selector. While it is enabled, the Selection Box styling rows, including Background color and Background opacity, are shown as unavailable.

The fill marks the region only. It does not alter the content captured for the request.
