Review the access LowLighter requests

LowLighter uses operating-system permissions for the desktop actions that need them. Screen Capture supports screen selection. Meetings can request microphone and system-audio access. StealthType requests Accessibility access on macOS.

Screen Capture
Allows the desktop to capture the region you select for a request.
Microphone and system audio
Allow Meetings to listen and transcribe an audio session.
Accessibility
Allows StealthType to type supported response text into the active application on macOS.

Choose the local AI path

Eligible Basic and Pro accounts can download Offline AI components and enable Offline Mode. With the components ready, the desktop offers a local AI path without an internet connection for the supported standard modes.

Offline Mode uses the Fast engine. Auto and Vision are the online processing choices when you need image understanding.

Choose Agent permissions

Ask before running lets you review covered file, command, and screen-inspection actions before they happen. Full access lets Agent continue through supported actions in your request without asking each time.

Passwords, passkeys, verification codes, security keys, payment details, and operating system approval prompts remain yours to complete directly.

Use capture-protection controls

Phantom protects LowLighter surfaces through the Phantom presentation. Meetings has its own Invisibility control for the Meetings overlay. GhostKeys has a different job: while LowLighter runs in the background, its native override keeps registered LowLighter hotkeys reaching the operating system even when the active app tries to capture or block a trigger.

These are separate user controls. Configure the answer surface in Phantom Appearance, the Meetings overlay in Meeting Controls, and review the registered hotkey status in GhostKeys.

Keep account and billing actions in their own surfaces

Account displays your identity, plan, usage, and subscription state. Paid checkout and subscription management open through Stripe's checkout and customer portal flows.

Use the product controls as the guide. Permissions, Offline AI, Phantom, Meetings, and billing each have a dedicated page and a separate setting in the desktop.
