Capture controls
Confirm or cancel a selection from the keyboard.
Use Enter and Escape with the selection surface and understand when the confirmation control is available.

Press Escape to cancel
Press Escape while the selection surface is open to cancel the current selection. The selector listens for Escape before a region is drawn as well as after the selection box appears.
Cancel closes the selection surface without submitting a region to the answer workflow.
Use Enter in the persistent editor
The ordinary screen workflow submits when you release the pointer after drawing a region. The persistent Automatic Screen Capture editor stays open so you can adjust the saved area, and Enter confirms the current region there.
Enter does nothing until the editor has a current region. The Use region button follows the same rule and stays disabled until an area is ready.
