Open the Meetings workspace

Meetings is a separate LowLighter workspace for live listening, transcription, and assistance during a conversation. Open Meetings from the desktop sidebar to reach its composer, controls, session actions, and history.

Assist
Ask LowLighter for help from the Meetings workspace. Outside a live session, Assist can answer questions about the screen when screen context is enabled.
Start Audio Session
Begin a live listening session that transcribes the selected audio sources and makes the transcript available to Assist.
History
Open finished listening sessions from Transcription Sessions.

Use Assist during a live session

During a live session, Assist can use the live transcript, the selected meeting mode, and available screen context to suggest what to say. The meeting controls determine which context is available.

  1. 1

    Choose the meeting mode

Select the mode that matches the conversation before you start listening.

  2. 2

    Start the audio session

Select Start Audio Session and wait for the listening status to appear.

  3. 3

    Ask Assist

Use the Meetings composer or its shortcut when you want live guidance.

  4. 4

    Finish the session

Select Done when the conversation is complete so the session can appear in history.

Keep live work separate from ordinary chat

New Chat clears the ordinary Assist conversation without ending an active listening session. Finished sessions are handled through Transcription Sessions, while questions asked in the ordinary Assist conversation are not added to that history list.

Start with Controls. Set screen context, Invisibility, transcription language, and meeting shortcuts before your first live session.

Keep Meetings available after closing the dashboard

Closing the main LowLighter window does not quit Meetings. The visible Meetings overlay uses Swift on macOS and C# on Windows, and it is designed to remain responsive while using modest background memory.

Reopen the dashboard from the system tray on Windows or the menu bar on macOS. Choose Quit when you want to stop LowLighter, including an active Meetings feature.
