Choose the color used for Phantom response text.

Choose the Phantom text color

Open Phantom while it is active, expand Appearance, and select the Text color swatch. The color picker changes the color used for response text on the protected Phantom answer surface.

The selected color appears beside the swatch as a hex value. Use that readout when you need to confirm the exact color saved in the desktop app.

Change and review the color

Open Appearance
Use the Appearance card in the active Phantom workspace.

Select Text color
Open the color swatch and choose the response-text color you want.

Confirm the hex value
Read the value shown beside the swatch to confirm the selected color.

Review the result
Choose Preview to inspect the protected answer surface with the current text color.

Keep Phantom appearance controls separate

Text color: Changes the color of response text on the Phantom answer surface.
Text opacity: Changes response-text visibility from 1% to 100%.
Background opacity: Changes the transparency of the protected answer surface background.
Phantom border: Shows or hides the protected answer surface outline.

Choose Reset to Defaults in Phantom Appearance when you want to restore the Phantom appearance settings together. Resetting the appearance does not disable Phantom.
