Prepare each release for both platforms

LowLighter releases are prepared for Windows and macOS. Each platform build is checked with the permissions, account access, shortcuts, overlays, and update behavior used by that operating system.

Feature work is reviewed together with the public documentation so the controls and plan details described here match the release.

Check the product before distribution

Feature checks

Confirm that the released controls work with the access level and operating system they describe.

Account checks

Confirm sign-in, plans, usage, credits, billing, and feature access against the account state.

Platform checks

Confirm the Windows and macOS experiences separately, including their native overlays and permissions.

Update checks

Confirm that an installed release can report, download, and apply the next update correctly.

Protect release integrity

Production releases are reviewed and checked before distribution. The release process includes safeguards that protect the integrity of the packages delivered to users.
