Choose the outline color
Open Settings, expand Selection Box, and use Border color. Select the swatch to choose the color used for the outline around the region you are drawing.
The hex value beside the swatch shows the current border color. This control changes the outline only, not the dimmed area or the selected region's interior.
Set the outline opacity
Use Border opacity to control how visible the selection outline is. The slider accepts values from 0% to 100%.

Understand Automatic Screen Capture behavior
When Automatic Screen Capture is enabled, LowLighter uses a saved region and does not open the normal manual selector. The Selection Box styling rows, including Border color and Border opacity, are shown as unavailable until Automatic Screen Capture is turned off.
The outline is a selection cue. Changing it does not change the region sent with the request.
