Troubleshoot LowLighter.

When selection or meetings cannot access the system

Check the operating-system permissions first. Screen selection needs Screen Capture access. Meeting audio needs microphone and system-audio access. StealthType needs Accessibility access on macOS.

   Open Permissions

   Review the access status shown by LowLighter during setup.

   Open the operating-system settings

   Use the permission action provided by the desktop.

   Allow LowLighter

   Grant the requested access, then restart LowLighter if the operating system asks for it.

When a request has no useful content

If a request reports that the selection has no usable content, draw a larger or clearer region. Include the surrounding text, labels, or complete visual when those details carry the meaning.

For readable text, Fast is the text-first choice. For charts, diagrams, symbols, or other visual content, use Auto or Vision when the account and current allowance support it.

When a mode or feature is locked

Open Account and read the current plan, mode access, and usage meters. Free includes Answer and Summarize. Basic unlocks all five core modes, unlimited Fast, Vision, Offline AI, GhostKeys, and Winter and Ambient aesthetics. Pro adds Phantom, maximum Meetings, Agent, higher-thinking models, Custom Prompt, and all aesthetic decorations.

If Agent is unavailable, confirm that Pro is active and check the Agent credit balance. If AI Vision is unavailable, check the remaining Vision count and reset date. If Offline AI is unavailable, check the account eligibility and whether the local components are downloaded.

When billing or updates need attention

For a payment failure, choose Update Payment in Account and complete the Stripe billing action. For an update failure, choose Retry after checking the connection.
