How LowLighter billing is organized

LowLighter uses Stripe for paid checkout and subscription management. The product account records the resulting plan, payment state, renewal information, and access changes shown in the desktop and website.

Checkout

Start a new monthly or yearly subscription through Stripe checkout.

Subscription portal

Open Manage subscription from Account to review billing actions in Stripe's customer portal.

Account state

Read the current plan, renewal or end date, payment status, and usage from Account.

Follow the subscription lifecycle

   Choose a plan

   Select Basic or Pro and choose monthly or yearly billing.

   Complete checkout

   Finish the secure Stripe checkout flow.

   Use the plan

   LowLighter updates the desktop with the plan's current modes, features, and usage allowances.

   Review renewal state

   Account shows the current renewal date or the date access is scheduled to end.

   Manage or change billing

   Open the Stripe customer portal from Manage subscription.

Use Account to confirm billing state

Account is where LowLighter displays the subscription state that controls feature access. Use it to confirm that a checkout, plan change, payment update, or cancellation has reached the desktop.
