System docsAnswer box typography

Change answer text size and font family from Settings.

Use the size slider and font menu to make the standard answer surface easier to read or better suited to the material on screen.

Set the answer text size

Open Settings and use Font size in the Answer Box section. The slider runs from 7px to 24px and shows the selected value beside the control.

Choose a smaller size when more response fits in the visible surface, or a larger size when you want the answer to be easier to scan.

Choose a font family

Open Font family to select the typeface used for standard answer text. The menu includes Geist, Manrope, Space Grotesk, Sora, Outfit, Urbanist, Bricolage Grotesque, Playfair Display, Inter, Roboto, Lato, Poppins, SF Pro Display, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Fira Code, JetBrains Mono, and Courier New.

General reading
Use a sans-serif choice such as Geist, Inter, or Roboto for a familiar interface reading experience.
Fixed-width text
Use Fira Code, JetBrains Mono, or Courier New when equal character widths help with code or aligned text.
Serif text
Use Playfair Display when you want a serif typeface for the response surface.

Preview or restore the typography

Choose Show Preview to check the selected font size and family on a sample answer. Choose Reset to Defaults to restore the standard Answer Box typography together with the other appearance settings.

The setting affects the standard answer box. Phantom has a separate appearance surface, while the regular Answer Box typography remains managed from its own Settings controls.
